The Kashmiri dry fruits we ship

Kashmiri Almonds (Mamra-grade)
High-oil, naturally sweet kernels from high-altitude orchards. The soaked-badam almond.

Kashmiri Walnut Kernels
Pale, plump paper-shell halves — omega-3 rich, cold-stored so they never taste bitter.

Premium Dried Figs (Anjeer)
Soft-dried, calcium-rich discs that bend, not crack. The overnight-soak classic.

Premium Dry Fruit Gift Box
Sheesham wood box with the full selection plus a jar of Grade I Mongra saffron.
Why Kashmiri dry fruits taste different
Everything on this page grows above 1,600 metres. At that altitude, trees grow slowly through cold winters — and slow growth concentrates what you eat dry fruits for. Kashmiri mamra-grade almonds carry roughly double the natural oil of plains almonds (the full comparison is in our mamra vs California guide). Valley walnuts come out of their paper shells as pale, whole, buttery halves — the reasons are in Kashmiri walnuts benefits. And our figs are dried soft, the way good anjeer should be.
The second difference is the supply chain — or rather, the absence of one. Dry fruits lose their case at every warm warehouse stop; oils oxidise, sweetness fades, and by the shelf they need “freshness” printed on the label because none is left inside. Ours are graded and sealed in the valley and shipped once: to you. That is the whole logistics diagram. It is also why our saffron — the crop our family is nationally recognised for — ships with an ISO 3632 grade card from the same fields you can see on this site.
Whether you are stocking the family pantry, building a Diwali hamper, or sending a wedding gift, start at the shop — or message us on WhatsApp and a member of the family will put your box together.

Buying Kashmiri dry fruits online — FAQs
Are your dry fruits really from Kashmir?
Yes — we are a Pampore farming family. The saffron is our own harvest; almonds, walnuts and figs come from partner orchards in the valley we know personally, hand-graded and vacuum-sealed at source. Every pack carries origin details, and our family's record with national agriculture bodies is documented on our Awards & Media page.
What is the difference between Kashmiri and regular dry fruits?
Altitude. Kashmir's 1,600m+ orchards grow slower, denser produce: mamra-grade almonds with roughly double the natural oil of plains almonds, paler and less bitter walnut halves, and figs dried soft rather than baked hard. You taste the difference in the first kernel.
How are orders shipped, and how fast?
Prepaid via DTDC across India, dispatched within 24–48 hours, delivered typically in 3–7 business days with tracking on email and WhatsApp. Everything ships tamper-sealed and cushioned.
Can I order dry fruit gift boxes for Diwali, Eid or weddings?
Yes — the Kesar + Mewa Gift Box and the Premium Dry Fruit Gift Box (sheesham wood, with a saffron jar) are built for gifting, and we take corporate orders of 10+ boxes with custom inserts. Order early in festive season; hampers sell through.
Is there a minimum order? Can I order on WhatsApp?
No minimum. Order on the site, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll set up your order directly — the same prepaid checkout, with a human on the other end who can tell you which harvest your pack comes from.
