Return gifts, and the gifts between families
These are two completely different orders and it helps to plan them separately.
Return gifts are a per-head budget across a large number of identical units. The winning properties are: does not spoil, does not need to be sized, does not need refrigeration, survives being carried home, and looks considered. Saffron in a small sealed jar is one of very few things that is all five at a price a return-gift budget tolerates.
Gifts between the two families are the opposite — few, larger, and looked at closely. This is where a 10 g jar or a built hamper across saffron, almonds, walnut kernels and honey belongs.

Four weeks for a guest-list quantity, and tell us the date before you tell us anything else.
A hundred sealed jars are filled, sealed and boxed to order. That is the real constraint, and it is also why nothing sits in a warehouse losing aroma. Two weeks is possible; four is comfortable.
The main Indian wedding season runs November to February, which overlaps the saffron harvest and the Diwali courier peak. A November wedding order competes with every Diwali parcel in the country, so treat four weeks as the floor rather than the target.
What arrives fresh
A November-to-February wedding falls right after the Pampore harvest, so return gifts packed for the main season carry that year's crop. An April or May wedding is six months on, which is still well within saffron's useful life but is last autumn's harvest, and we will say which you are getting.
